About Me
The following is an updated revision of the write up by ISACA Manila when they send out invites for my Introduction to ISMS Seminar.
Mr. Jaime Raphael Licauco is an ISO 27001:2005 (ISMS) and ISO 9001 (QMS) Auditor, an ISO 28000 (SMSSC) Provisional Auditor and has two internationally recognized information security certifications, namely the (ISC)2 ‘s CISSP and the SANS Institute’s GIAC SEC. He conducts Introduction to ISO 27001:2005 (ISMS) Seminars for TUV Rheinland Philippines, Inc.
Mr. Licauco was formerly from the Advanced Computing Center for eSecurity of SGV/Ernst & Young Manila, where he was responsible for giving ISMS Implementation Advisory; Risk Assessments; auditing for the PCI DSS and AS/400 security; developing and review of security policies; and conducting vulnerability assessments. He was also formerly from the Technology and Security Risk Services of SGV/Ernst & Young Manila, where he used Computer aided auditing techniques (ACL, VB, etc) to check for the accuracy, completeness and validity of transactions for SGV/Ernst & Young’s insurance and banking clients.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern New Hampshire University, USA with a Bachelors Degree on Business Studies, specializing in Computer Information Systems and has a background in Oracle DB, Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop), and was a member of American Mensa (at least within the top 2% of I.Q. in North America) and Mensa Philippines. He is also currently a member of the Philippine Computer Emergency Response Team, the SANS GIAC Advisory Mail List (invited for attaining a 95% average in the GSEC certification), and the Bureau of Product Standards / National Computer Center JTC1/Sub-Committee 27 on Security Techniques.
